With Fall right around the corner, what better way to celebrate than a new Fall favorite full of flavor! After reviewing some of the top recipes for Fall, we have compiled some of the best! Take note of new recipes and try a few new favorites this Fall!

Crustless Apple Pie
Why we love it: the focus with this recipe is on fruit! With the apple as the primary source of energy in this dish, you get an added benefit of fiber which commonly we do not get enough of - making this treat a great choice to include this season.

Apple Chips (Delish)

Why we love it: this is a simple snack you can make well in advanced and have around when a sweet craving hits! With minimal ingredients, this snack is not only versatile and an easy way to increase your intake of fruit and fiber for the day - but a satisfying snack to hold you over until your next meal and power you through your day!

Cinnamon Baked Pears (Delish)

Why we love it: something about baked pears is just so decadent! But this variety won’t slow you down - it actually would be a wonderful dessert to enjoy after a filling and healthy fall meal! Sweet and tart - a perfect pair!

Banana Maple Yogurt Parfait (Lemon Tree Dwelling)

Why we love it: a sweet swap for breakfast and a great way to include a source of protein and additional fiber in your mornings. Also, this parfait can be made to your personal liking and could be modified to fit whatever seasonal fruit you might have around (dare I say, apple maple yogurt parfait?)

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds 6 Ways  (Wholefully)

Why we love it: another wonderful snack to prepare and keep handy when hunger strikes. Prepare these with a variety of seasoning (as described) and play around with flavor - a perfect way to include a source of protein in your meals and snacks as well as a healthy source of fat - keeping you full and satisfied to take on the afternoon.

Purposeful Pear Green Smoothie (Blissful Basil)

Why we love it: a great way to start your day and include a variety of nutrient-packed ingredients to provide you with sustained energy for a busy morning. Try preparing the ingredients ahead of time and individually packing them in baggies (freeze) and have your ingredients ready to go right away!

Poached Pears with Walnut and Granola

Why we love it: likely one of the more “sweet” treats in the mix, but a great way to higlight a healthy dessert when hosting a Fall gathering or event.

Try out a few of these flavorful recipes this Fall and see how they fit in your sustainable, nutrition plan. Modifying what you love to fit both your preferences and goals is a great step in moving towards a nutrition practice you can keep for seasons to come!
